This could be an electrical issue for one or one hundred electrical panels or switches, it could be a building issue where you have air infiltration or excessive moisture problems to identify or pinpoint or it could be a mechanical issue, check clogged pipes or blocked steam traps.
Electrical Inspection
Inspections are carried out during customer’s normal operating hours with all services on line. This is when the greatest demand on your electrical system occurs and if there are any anomalies they will be the most “visible” during that period. Inspections are conducted following a pre-determined methodology which would have been previously agreed on with the client during the consultation. Since the equipment remains on during the scan there are no interruptions to your activities be it an office building or a manufacturing plant. If you have large switchboards or sensitive equipment which you do not want opened during the infrared inspection we can install for you IR windows during a planned shutdown. The windows permit us to view with the camera the inside parts which need scanning and this at no risk to the thermographer or create an unwanted accidental electrical interruption.
Thermo-View follows the CSA Z462-12 and NFPA70E for “Workplace Electrical Safety” standards as well as NFPA70B “Recommended practice for electrical maintenance”
Building Inspection

Infrared imagery will analyze a commercial or industrial building,a residence, offices, foundations, ceilings, around doors and windows for leaks due to poor thermal insulation, or for a discussion of preventive maintenance.
